Since its founding 50 years ago as a community orchestra, ESA has grown into one of the nation’s most admired regional symphonies, earning recognition throughout the field for its ambitious programming and outstanding artistic leadership. Through this programming, ESA hopes to continue to engage its current audience while also nurturing the next generation of music-lovers, attracting a new and diverse population, and creating new avenues for public engagement with art.
